Luteolin is one of the most abundant flavonoids in nature. It is found in a number of plant sources, but in particular herbs, vegetables and fruits. Rich sources of luteolin include dandelion, artichoke, thyme, green pepper, parsley and celery. One of the most significant findings of studies which examined the flavonoid discovered its ability to increase the bioavailability of resveratrol, and activate SIRT1. Studies have also determined it is an effective advanced glycosylation end product (AGE) inhibitor and has marked anti-inflammatory effects. Luteolin – Super Flavonoid.
